Hybrid Remote, must be able work on-site 2-3 days/week
POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of Employee Relations Manager, the Human Resource Business Partner serves as consultant to leadership and staff on human resource related issues and is primary liaison between the HR department and designated departments. The Business Partner establishes and maintains effective partnering relationships with department leaders to ensure their goals and objectives related to human resources are achieved and aligned with organizational strategy and cultural initiatives. Works to positively influence employee and leadership behaviors to reflect the organization’s values and strategic initiatives. Partners with HR colleagues in areas of recruiting, compensation, benefits, and employee health to ensure timely, value added and integrated service to leadership and employees that supports business objectives and initiatives of the organization. Maintains effective level of business literacy about organizational and department business function and objectives. Serves as consultant and provides guidance for issues relevant to employee relations, policy interpretation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and work experience. Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel.
BASIC KNOWLEDGE
Strong knowledge of federal and state employment law and regulations. Specialized knowledge in employee relations, performance management, organizational development, recruitment, compensation and training. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, group facilitation, and formal presentation skills. Excellent problem solving and conflict resolution skills. The ability to understand and resolve complex employee relations and organizational issues is required. Must demonstrate capability and flexibility to interact with employees at all levels. Consistently demonstrate high level of integrity, work to establish credibility within the organization, and establish trusted relationships with staff and leaders. Effectively envision, develop and implement new strategies to address and navigate complex business issues. Possess ability to manage multiple competing priorities through strong organizational and time management skills.
EXPERIENCE
Three to Five years of experience in Human Resources professional role required. Healthcare experience preferred. Must have strong experience resolving complex employee relations issues.
