Job Description

Central Vermont Medical Center, a partner in the University of Vermont Health Network is recruiting for a full-time BC/BE family medicine physician. Our ideal candidate will be a strong clinician, interested in practice leadership with a focus on community, communication and team building. Leadership experience is desirable but not a prerequisite. Candidates should have a commitment to working with patients in our MAT (medical assisted treatment for opioid use disorder) program.

The successful candidate would join a team of experienced physicians and associate providers who are invested in the success of their new colleague. This position also comes with the opportunity to teach medical students from the University of Vermont.

Located in the heart of the Green Mountain state, CVMC has a reputation of clinical excellence with a staff that is deeply rooted in our community. 

The surrounding region offers easy access to a number of outdoor activities, such as mountain biking, downhill and cross-country skiing, hunting, fishing, and hiking, as well as cultural pursuits in nearby Montpelier, the state capital. Our location also puts us 20 minutes from Stowe and 45 minutes to Burlington home to The University of Vermont as well as 3 hours from Boston and 2.5 hours from Montreal.
