Job Description

Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC), a member of the University of Vermont Health Network, is recruiting a full-time general Neurologist. This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a community setting while having a strong connection with an academic center. Located in the heart of the Green Mountain state, CVMC has a reputation for clinical excellence with a staff deeply rooted in our community. 

Our general neurology practice sees a wide variety of conditions across all subspecialties including epilepsy, stroke, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, neuroimmunology and headaches. We offer EMG/nerve conduction testing as well as standard and ambulatory EEG testing. Due to our proximity and close relationship with the UVM Health Network, referrals to subspecialists for complicated cases are seamless. Primarily an outpatient practice, a small portion of time is performing inpatient and ED consultations. Opportunities exist for resident and medical student education as well.  

All applicants must be American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology board eligible/certified. Subspecialty training is preferred but not required. Our goal is to continue the high level of clinical care and education currently provided as we develop our clinically integrated network.
