The Fletcher Allen Partners’ Board of Trustees has announced changes to the structure of the Board, most significantly, a reduction in the number of board members from 27 to 19 to improve operational effectiveness.

Montpelier resident Priscilla Minkin recently joined Central Vermont Medical Center as Spiritual Care Counselor and a member of the Palliative Care Team.
CVMC thanks Dr. Mason for his more than three decades of service to the community. He started his practice in central Vermont in 1982 and will be closing his private practice as of March 30, 2014.
CVMC Auxilian of the Year, Barre resident Jean Rubalcaba, has been a volunteer at CVMC for 45 years. She volunteers at the lobby information desk, the gift shop, and is an active member of the Auxiliary, currently serving on the board of directors.
CVMC welcomes Elizabeth Suiter, MD, who is is joining Priscilla Carr, MD, Bob Robinson MD, Anthony Williams, MD, FACP, Joni Chenoweth, PA-C, LICSW and Katie John, APRN, FNP-BC at Barre Internal Medicine.
Lois Eby’s “Chasing the Blues” exhibit refers to the Blues as a musical tradition, and one which comes from the heart, expresses sorrow, and bestows. Her work honors the Blues and their deep expression of what it is to be human.
Berlin, Vt – During calendar year 2013, 168 Central Vermont Medical Center volunteers contributed 21,175 hours. Volunteers serve at the hospital, the cancer center, Woodridge Rehabilitation & Nursing and The CVMC Auxiliary Bene-Fit Shop in Barre. In addition, members of the CVMC Board of Trustees, CVMC Auxiliary and individuals from the community gave of their time and talents.
Dr. Rachel E. Gaidys is about as home grown as they come. She is a graduate of Spaulding High School, attended Norwich University, where she received her B.S. in Biology, and earned her M.D. at the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
The art exhibit “Two Paths, One Vision” by August Burns and Elliot Burg of Middlesex, Vermont will be hanging in the Central Vermont Medical Center lobby gallery through June 6, 2014.
