For many people, food is one of the most important elements of a happy life. Our goal at Woodridge is to have residents pleased with every meal, and we encourage our residents to let us know about any specific food preferences so that we can cater to their needs.
Special Diets
Our registered dietitian works with patients to create meal plans that ensure they are receiving all of the nutrients necessary for maintaining and improving their health. This is particularly important for patients with dietary restrictions due to certain medical issues.
In addition, we can provide foods specific to any diets ordered by your physician.
Restaurant-Style Service
We encourage our residents to eat in the Benjamin Falls dining room where restaurant-style service is provided for breakfast, lunch and dinner. View a sample of our summer menu to find out what types of meals you can expect during your stay at Woodridge.
Meal Times
Meal times vary according to units, but in general, breakfast is served between 7:15 and 8:00 a.m., dinner between 11:15 and noon, and supper between 4:15 and 5:00 p.m. Snacks are available at nighttime as well as between meals.
Visitor Dining
Visitors are welcome to join residents for meals. The visitor’s meal may be bought in the cafeteria located on the ground floor and brought to the resident’s dining area, or a guest tray may be ordered, to be delivered with the resident’s meal. There is a charge for the guest tray. To order one, please contact the Business Office by 10:00 a.m. for dinner and 3:00 p.m. for supper.*
The private dining room and other areas may be reserved for families to have meals together or for other private gatherings. Contact the Business Office to make a reservation.
