Visitor Information

Families and friends of our residents are a fundamental part of Woodridge life and we encourage visits. Learn what you need to know about visiting one of our residents.

*Visitation hours, dining at Woodridge, and resident outings are subject to change due to Covid regulations.

Visits from family members and friends are encouraged and often serve an important role in maintaining the emotional well-being of our residents.  Family members and friends are also welcome to participate in our activity programs (see our Calendar of Events).

Visiting Hours

There are no set visiting hours at Woodridge. For security purposes the front door is locked after 8:00 pm. Please use the telephone in front vestibule to be let in after hours.

Dining at Woodridge

Visitors are welcome to join residents for meals. The visitor’s meal may be bought in the cafeteria located on the ground floor and brought to the resident’s dining area, or a guest tray may be ordered, to be delivered with the resident’s meal. There is a charge for the guest tray. To order one, please contact the Business Office by 10:00 a.m. for dinner and 3:00 p.m. for supper.

The private dining room and other areas may be reserved for families to have meals together or for other private gatherings. Contact the Business Office to make a reservation.

Resident Outings

Everyone likes to go out. Our residents enjoy going for rides and out to dinner, parties, church or shopping as much as anyone else. Even overnight and extended visits are possible under certain circumstances. Preparations need to be made to ensure a successful outing. Please give the nurse in charge advance notice if there are plans for a trip outside of the nursing home.

Smoking Policy

Woodridge and the entire CVMC campus are non-smoking facilities. This policy extends to all indoor and outdoor areas.

Well-behaved pets are welcome guests!  Please bring a copy of vaccination records to the front office to be kept on file.  All pets must be secured on a leash and may not visit in the dining room during meals.
