Molly Flanagan, MD

Dr. Flanagan is thrilled to be part of our community. At CVMC, she looks forward to joining our collaborative group of physicians, certified nurse midwives, and women’s health nurse practitioners. She brings a passion for medical student education and quality improvement to our team.

Dr. Flanagan joined CVMC after completing her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stamford Hospital / Columbia University. During her residency, she received recognition for excellence in minimally invasive gynecology and female pelvic medicine. She completed the Tufts University School of Medicine/Maine Track Program as a medical student with a focus in providing care in rural communities.

She is originally from Maine and is excited to be back in Northern New England. In her spare time, she enjoys outdoor activities, reading and playing the cello.

Cori Gilkey, CVM, DNP

Cori Gilkey, CNM, DNP

Certified Nurse Midwife

Cori comes to CVMC from Albany, Georgia, where she practiced full scope midwifery at Miriam Worthy Women’s Health Clinic. Before that, she worked as a midwife in New Hampshire, visiting Vermont frequently while living there. Cori spent 10 years as a labor and delivery nurse before returning to school for midwifery. She received her Doctorate in Nursing Practice degree from Frontier Nursing University.

“My goal is to provide women with the information needed to make informed choices for their healthcare needs. As a midwife, I want a woman’s birth experience to be everything she desires, while simultaneously supporting her to have a healthy pregnancy and healthy baby.

Cori offers a full spectrum of well-women care, working collaboratively with CVMC’s OB/GYN providers. Her medical interests include working with opioid addiction in pregnancy and lactation. Cori lives with her family in East Barre.

Dr. Horan is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She went to medical school at State University of New York and completed her residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.

Rachel Long, MD earned her medical degree from Medical College of Milwaukee and completed her residency in obstetrics-gynecology at Mountain Area Health and Education Center in Asheville, NC). Rachel enjoys building relationships with her patients and understanding their personal goals through the full spectrum of care.

Originally from Shelburne, Dr. Long returns to Vermont to be closer to her family and all of the outdoor activities the Green Mountain State provides. She and husband are both avid skiers.

Erika-Kristina Pineles-Mark, NP, CNM

Erika-Kristina Pineles-Mark, NP, CNM graduated from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and earned her Masters of Science in Nurse Midwifery from Georgetown University. She is a board certified Nurse Midwife and Women's Health Care Nurse Practitioner.

Dr. Julie Vogel attended medical school at SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine and completed her residency at Tufts Medical Center. She previously worked for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cambridge Health Alliance in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Dr. Vogel has a strong interest in women’s health and social issues. She knew she found a home during her Obstetrics and Gynecology clerkship rotation in medical school, where she discovered ob/gin to be a procedure-oriented specialty with a language of its own. It allows her to develop relationships with her patients and provide continuity of care for women throughout their entire lives, including pregnancy and childbirth.
