Dr. Katie Costello earned her medical degree at the University of Vermont College of Medicine, where she won the Lamb Fellowship Award for the fourth year medical student who best exemplifies care and concern of the total patient. Dr. Costello completed her post-doctoral training at Lawrence Family Medicine Residency, which focuses on meeting the needs of the underserved, where she also served as the Chief Resident.
Dr. Costello worked as a hospitalist at CVMC for over five years before joining Integrative Family Medicine - Montpelier in 2023.
Before returning home to Central Vermont in 2017, Dr. Costello spent eight years working in cross-cultural environments, most recently on the Navajo Reservation. "We are thrilled to be coming home to live and work along side our fellow Vermonters!", said Dr. Costello.
