Kim graduated from the University of Vermont in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. Besides her special interest in orthopaedics and wellness, Kim has been involved with ergonomics since 1995, providing onsite ergonomic assessments and educational programs for several Vermont and New Hampshire based companies in such diverse industries as manufacturing, construction, banking, food and beverage delivery companies, utilities and general office settings.

She is the past chairperson of the Education Committee for the Vermont Chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association. Outside of work, Kim enjoys being outdoors in all seasons and attending live music.
