Callie Linehan (she/her) is a Family Medicine physician who provides broad-spectrum care for the whole family, from newborns through the end of life, with special interests in reproductive care including prenatal care, labor and delivery; office procedures; gender health; and substance use disorders. Dr. Linehan is passionate about engaging each individual in their own healthcare decision making process, and ensuring that all patients feel welcome, safe, and respected so that they can participate in healthcare in a way that feels approachable. She is most inspired by the opportunities to get to know her patients over time, and to be there for them in times of challenge or vulnerability and to be able to see them through these times. Dr. Linehan splits her clinical time between Green Mountain Family Practice in Northfield, VT and CVMC Obstetrics, Midwifery, and Gynecology (“Women’s Health”) in Berlin, VT.
Dr. Linehan grew up in Burlington, VT, then attended Hamilton College in Central NY where she studied Biology and Anthropology. After college, she spent time in Seattle, WA moving progressively towards her career in medicine - from REI and a bread bakery, to volunteering at University of Washington Medical Center, and then to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center working on ovarian and breast cancer research. She moved back East to pursue a post-baccalaureate degree and medical school at the Larner College of Medicine at the University of Vermont, returned once more to Seattle for her Family Medicine Residency at Kaiser Permanente, and now has finally landed back home in Vermont!
When she is not working, Dr. Linehan enjoys spending time with her family, doing almost anything outdoors like hiking, paddling, and cross country skiing, cooking, gardening, and dabbling in artistic endeavors.
