Berlin, VT—The Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology (CBNC) has announced that Joachim Mueller, MD, on staff at CVMC’s Central Vermont Cardiology practice, passed their certification examination in November/December 2012. Dr. Mueller is now entitled to designate himself as “Diplomate of the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.”
Berlin, Vt – Central Vermont Medical Center’s Diagnostic Imaging Division of MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) recently achieved accreditation from the American College of Radiology. The MRI service is now ACR Accredited as a Quality Indicator for this service line for a period of three years.
“This accreditation is a standard of excellence that speaks to both the credentials of the staff operating the highly sophisticated MRI unit, and interpretation of the complex images by our Board Certified Radiologists,” said Nancy Lothian, CVMC’s Chief Operating Officer.
PLATTSBURGH NY – CVPH Medical Center and Elizabethtown Community Hospital (ECH) announced today that the New York State Department of Health has approved a corporate affiliation between the two organizations through their corporate parent, Community Providers, Inc. (CPI), and Fletcher Allen Partners (FAP), the Vermont-based corporate parent organization of Fletcher Allen Health Care and Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC). The affiliation took effect January 1, 2013, and is subject to confirmation by the New York Supreme Court, which is expected within 45 days.
