Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA)

Central Vermont Medical Center conducts a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years to gain understanding of the health status of central Vermont and identify areas of need in our community. This report is used to help us better direct our efforts and resources in the community.

CVMC Auxiliary

The CVMC Auxiliary was created in 1968 when Heaton Hospital in Montpelier and Barre City Hospital came together to form one hospital now known as Central Vermont Medical Center. Since its inception, this exception volunteer group raised more than a million dollars for CVMC. While the organization was sunsetted, the Auxiliary’s legacy continues through CVMC’s scholarship program and other philanthropy. We are forever grateful to the CVMC Auxiliary for its contribution to CVMC’s mission.

CVMC Art Gallery

The CVMC Art Gallery, located in the main lobby of the hospital, provides local artists with an ideal opportunity for exposing their work to a broader range of our community.
