Berlin, Vt – Elizabeth Suiter, M.D. relocated to Vermont from the State of Washington where she was medical director at Coyote Ridge Corrections Center.
Dr. Suiter received her B.A. from Yale University and graduated with Distinction in Anthropology. She earned her M.D. at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington D.C. She was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholar. She completed her residency in primary care internal medicine at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF).
“I am happy to have the opportunity to join a practice in Central Vermont,” noted Dr. Suiter. “I look forward to working with the team at Barre Internal Medicine.”
Although she grew up in San Diego, most of Dr. Suiter’s family is on the east coast. Her husband is a professor in the School of Justice Studies at Norwich University. They have a daughter Maggie, age three and an eight month old son Trevor.
Dr. Suiter is joining Priscilla Carr, MD, Bob Robinson MD, Anthony Williams, MD, FACP, Joni Chenoweth, PA-C, LICSW and Katie John, APRN,FNP-BC at Barre Internal Medicine, 225 South Main Street in Barre.
