Berlin, Vt. – The University of Vermont Health Network – Central Vermont Medical Center (CVMC) announces the appointment of Allen Yearick, MHA, LNHA, as permanent administrator and vice president of Aging Services at Woodridge Rehabilitation and Nursing, a certified 153-bed facility. Yearick served in the role of interim administrator since January 2018 and brings more than 25 years in nursing home and acute care operations to the role.
“Over the past five months, Allen has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to supporting Woodridge’s team, residents and families,” said Anna Noonan, CVMC’s president and chief operating officer. “We all look forward to partnering with Allen to continue deepening Woodridge’s culture of caring and strengthening the delivery of exceptional patient- and family-centered care at the facility.”
Yearick is a licensed nursing home administrator (LNHA) in Vermont, Florida, Minnesota and Nebraska and comes to Vermont from Sarasota, Fla., where he served as president of the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA), Florida chapter. The group recently received ACHCA’s 2018 Chapter Achievement Award.
Yearick earned a bachelor’s degree in biology/psychology from West Virginia University and a master’s degree in hospital administration (MHA) from the University of Minnesota. He also holds a graduate certificate in gerontology from the University of South Florida and is core-trained in assisted living facility administration.
