Dr. Justin Stinnett recently completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Fletcher Allen Health Care and has joined the Central Vermont Medical Center Hospitalist team.
He received his undergraduate degree, a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with Great Distinction, from Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York. He earned a M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Vermont (UVM) College of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences and his Doctor of Medicine from the UVM Medical School.
In August of 2012 Dr. Stinnett was one of 25 residents selected form the Northeastern Unites States to participate in the Tufts’ Health Care Residency Rotation “Practicing Medicine in a Changing Health Care Environment.” While in his residency program Dr. Stinnett was winner of the Vermont Resident Research and Quality Improvement Competition for three years in a row. He also received the Eilsworth Amidon Award for Outstanding Proficiency in Internal Medicine. During medical school he served on the Medical Student Council including one term as president.
