Connie is a registered nurse specializing in diabetes education. She had Intensive Care Unit and Emergency Department experience prior to transitioning to education. She loves the teaching aspect of her role as a diabetes educator. She enjoys the math and science of making insulin adjustments and using the technology of insulin pumps and sensors. She finds her position very rewarding when persons with diabetes can state that they feel better and she has taken part in improving their quality of life.
