Who are the Central Vermont Treatment Partners and how can they help?

We are a partnership of health care professionals throughout Central Vermont who provide judgement-free assistance to people in need of treatment for opioid use disorder. Our goal is to quickly connect you with help to open your door to recovery.

How does medication assisted treatment work?

Medication assisted treatment uses medication in combination with counseling to treat addiction to opioids such as heroin and prescription pain relievers. Using one of three medications—Methadone, Buprenorphine, or Naltrexone—can reduce cravings and withdrawal symptoms.

Medications don’t change thoughts, feelings and triggers that can continue addictive behaviors which is why counseling is an essential part of our program.

Who qualifies for treatment?

Anyone who feels like they need help with their opioid use can get help. If medication assisted treatment is not right for you, we will help you find the right treatment and recovery services.
