Woodridge Life Enrichment Team Brings Hope and Joy to Residents During Challenging Year

Over 90 people call Woodridge their home. For the Life Enrichment team, it’s more than a job, it’s a calling.

“They’re part of our family,” says Director of Care Management and Life Enrichment Amanda Cantiello. “We're honored to come in every day, and we're honored to work with them.”

“I just love to be able to come in and do for them,” says Life Enrichment Coordinator Lucie Gilbert. “When we're here, they are the only thing that matters.”

The Life Enrichment team has worked hard to keep residents engaged throughout the pandemic. After a difficult year, Woodridge has recently opened to family visitation by appointment – a most welcome change.

“We're getting one step closer to what normal is for them,” says Life Enrichment Coordinator Julia Cummings, LNA.
